Ritu Mathur is a passionate and enthusiastic permaculture, environmental, and solid water management consultant with a wide range of experience of more than 15 years.

She has played the key role in design and implementation of sustainable edible gardens, solid waste management systems with over 92 percent of waste recycling, grey and black water management, growing mushrooms and stingless bees at resorts in Maldives.

She has worked on mangrove restoration, nursery for mangroves and to use for reduction in island erosion with sea. She responsibly created and implemented mimicking of environmental wetland for cleaning STP water and ensuring water output to improve and reach permissible limits, introduced food forest at the resorts.

Minimising the human impact on our environment is her core, designing edible gardens, eco farms, rain water harvesting reservoirs and percolation tanks, ecological waste water treatment systems and managing any ecosystem sustainably.

She has worked on farms with small to large acreage in India, responsibly delivered training for permaculture, natural and organic farming, conducted workshops for NGOs, corporates, rural and city dwellers.
